Just a few weeks before Chad passed, TJ’s Construction purchased three animals at the FDL County Fair Market Livestock Auction to support local 4-H and FFA youth. Chad was known for his servant’s heart and his unwavering desire to help others. In his honor, we made donations to the Brandon and Wautoma Food Pantries.🐄🐖🐑

Supporting the communities where we live and work isn’t just something we do — it’s who we are. Chad embodied that spirit, and we’re proud to continue it!

As we step into a new year, our family can’t help but reflect on 2025 — a year that changed us forever. On August 4, 2025, Chad Vande Berg, owner of TJ’s Construction, was called home by his Lord and Savior doing what he loved – planting food plots and leaving behind a legacy of hard work, big dreams, and a deep love for his family, the land, and community.❤️‍🩹

For 27 years, Chad and Tammy poured their hearts into building TJ’s Construction. Many have asked what “TJ’s” stands for — the name honors Chad’s late mother, Terrie Jean, who always dreamed of owning her own business. Her spirit, and Chad’s, remain at the foundation of everything we do.

As we look ahead to the future of TJ’s Construction, our hope is simple: to honor Chad in every decision, every project, and every interaction. His legacy guides us, and we are committed to carrying it forward with the same integrity, grit, and heart he lived by.

Chad and Tammy, owners of TJ’s Construction, recently became grandparents for the first time. Today, their granddaughter joined them for a Zoom meeting. She says this work is tiring for a 4-week old baby!
