We are thrilled with the success of Odin’s inaugural Technical Expo, an internal event centered around one of our core values: collaboration. The expo featured insightful presentations from some of Odin’s subject matter experts, poster sessions showcasing our innovative projects, and countless opportunities for networking and collaboration.

This event was more than just a gathering; it was a chance for technical team members from projects across the country to share successes and lessons learned, as well as inspire new solutions for future projects. By connecting across geographies and service lines, we strengthened our ability to deliver excellence for every client and project.

A huge thank you to Tino Maestas for spearheading and chairing the event, and to everyone who participated, presented, and contributed to making the 2025 Technical Expo such a success. Let’s continue pushing boundaries, sharing knowledge, and building on our expertise. Collectively, we know everything.

As our summer internships come to a close, we want to extend a huge thank you to our incredible interns for their hard work and valuable contributions. They tackled exciting projects, learned new skills, and made a lasting impact on our team. While some of our interns are heading back to school to continue their academic journeys, others have successfully transitioned into full-time positions with us at Odin.

Grant Jave, Project Engineer in our Gulf Coast region, reflected on his experience from his Summer 2024 internship: “My advice to future interns would be to jump in with both feet! Ask questions, take detailed notes, and reflect on your daily experiences to solidify your learning. I’m already referencing my internship notes as I head back to school and applying them to my coursework.”

is pleased to welcome Cameron Scott to our team as a Project Engineer based in Sacramento, CA! Cameron graduated from CSU Sacramento this spring with his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Cameron’s previous work for his family business in house and building relocation as well as his service in the US Navy have given him a wide variety of skills that he is excited to bring to Team Odin, including team management and practical skills learned both in the office and in the field. Most recently, Cameron found his passion through earning his undergraduate degree and exploring various facets of civil engineering. In his free time, you can find Cameron spending time with his wife, Megan and two mini-Australian shepherds named Aspen and Maple. He loves to go fly fishing and play golf too. Cameron will also be pursuing his Masters in Geotechnical engineering in the fall and is energized to join !

is pleased to welcome Ashley Nieto as our newest project manager! Ashley brings nearly 10 years of construction experience to Odin; beginning with excavations for septic systems, environmental restoration, estimating and scheduling, to large CERCLA & SUPERFUND site cleanup/construction. Most recently, Ashley was closing out Phase 1 at an Asarco SUPERFUND in Denver proper – a project which aims to restore resiliency to native vegetation and wildlife, promotes responsible water passage and transfer from the city to the South Platte, while increasing accessibility to pedestrian paths all throughout the city and neighboring municipalities. With two undergrads in science, construction was an unlikely fit, but as luck would have it, an opportunity fell into place nearly 10 years ago, and she’s never questioned being in the right place. Ashley is passionate about all aspects of construction, and deeply enjoys leading her team to successes. Outside of work Ashley spends much of her time tending to her homestead on the eastern Colorado plains and focuses on restoring native biodiversity to her parcel of land, while increasing self-sustainability. Once a year, she and her fiancé will take a weeklong backpacking trip to disconnect and fly fish alpine lakes and waters.

My name is Laura Kemp, and I am an Assistant Project Manager for Odin. A big part of my role is scheduling and project controls. I work with our Sr. Project Managers and Construction Managers onsite to make sure that I am accurately reporting the correct information to the client.

My dad has always inspired me. In the last 10 years, he has faced quite a few roadblocks that could have easily knocked anyone down, but none of them stopped him. When he was a plant manager in Beaumont, TX, I went out to visit one day and was fascinated with all things’ projects. A month later, I decided to change my major to Business Management and Industrial Engineering. And the rest is history! I really do aspire to be like him one day. He is an amazing Project Manager and people in the industry seek out his advice and I think that is really cool. Don’t let anyone tell you that you don’t belong and that you would be more comfortable in another industry. I have had so much fun and have had the chance to travel to projects and work on a lot of different types of projects as well! Be confident and you will go far!
