4,320 cubic yards. 18 hours. One incredible team effort.

McGough’s self-perform team poured the concrete mat slab for the largest of Mayo Clinic’s Bold. Forward. Unbound. in Rochester two clinical buildings. The pour began at 5 p.m. on September 2 and was completed around 11 a.m. the next day!

The effort brought together our VDC, layout, project management, safety, and field teams, all working toward the same goal of completing the pour safely and efficiently.

Thank you to our trade partners Rochester Ready Mix, A-Star Concrete Pumping, Swanson & Youngdale, Inc., and Nucor for helping make this milestone possible. Congratulations to the entire Rochester team for a job well done

We would like to give a big thank-you to everyone who joined us last Thursday for our Boots, Bites & Business event! Our Dallas team happily welcomed clients, design partners, and trade partners to celebrate our new office space and the relationships that continue to shape our work across Texas.

Despite the rainy weather, our guests came ready to connect and enjoy a little Texas-style fun. We loved sharing our new space, reconnecting with familiar faces, and building new relationships as we continue to build something greater together!

Our team was proud to lace up once again for the American Heart Association’s Triangle Heart Walk!

Led by Kellie Ford, this year’s Executives with Heart Campaign Chair, Team McGough raised an incredible $33,496 to support the fight against heart disease and stroke. Thank you to every walker, donor, and supporter who helped make this achievement possible—and to our friends at S&ME for sharing the day with us!

As we celebrate this year’s success, Kellie is honored to pass the torch to Greg Pauly of Duke Health, who will serve as the 2027 Executives with Heart Campaign Chair.

We look forward to seeing the impact this community will continue to make under his leadership!

We were so excited to fire up the grills for the 4th Annual Minnesota Building Trades “Beyond the Yellow Ribbon” Ribfest. Our cooking team joined BBQ teams from across the area for a family-friendly event supporting Minnesota’s military veterans, current service members, and their families.

Led by our grill master, Assistant Superintendent Greg Route, the team brought home fourth place in chicken and finished ninth overall. Not bad for a day spent cooking for a great cause!

Thank you to the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support this important mission. We were honored to join a community committed to giving back to those who have served, and we had a great time sharing some BBQ along the way.
