From Rosewood to the World: 50+ Years of Precision
What started as a tractor repair shop in Rosewood grew into a world-class machining company. Just two years after opening his shop, Duane Helman founded Rosewood Machine and Tool Company (RMT)—and today, the family business includes Helman’s sons, a talented team of 40 employees, and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022.
RMT is known for quality and customer service, producing precision-machined parts for clients ranging from small businesses to major manufacturers like Honda of America, KTH Parts Industries, and Copeland Corporation.
With an ISO 9001:2015 certification since 1999, RMT handles everything from prototypes and small runs to production runs in the millions, even offering emergency machining support when equipment breaks down. They also blend tradition with innovation by crafting replacement exhaust parts for antique tractors (1940 & older)—shipping them worldwide to customers in England, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, and beyond.
At its core, RMT’s success is built on people: a dedicated team who cares about customers and a commitment to training the next generation of machinists.
