It is a huge red flag that companies are traveling to our community for work when there is plenty of work around the state.
Many of our valuable contractors are in triage mode, still tarping and patching holes.
Please be careful before signing any contracts.
Roofing work can only be completed by a Florida Roofing, Building, Residential and General Contractor. You can verify their license and view complaints at Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation . We also recommend to ask for ID so you meet the actual license holder.
Contractors also need to be registered with Charlotte County Community Development to pull a permit. Click here to see if the company you are wanting to hire is registered https://secureapps.charlottecountyfl.gov/CitizenAccess/Welcome.aspx
