Neodymium is the strongest permanent magnet material available, but stronger doesn’t always mean better for every application. 🧲

N55 neodymium reaches 53–56 MGOe, far exceeding samarium cobalt, AlNiCo, and ceramic ferrite. However, standard N grades have a maximum operating temperature of approximately 80°C.
That’s why selecting the right magnet means considering more than strength, it also depends on temperature, environment, size, and cost.
