Breaking ground on Westlake Fire Station No. 903 🚒

We’re building a new three-story, 15,175 SF fire station in Austin for Travis County Emergency Services District No. 9. The work includes the building itself and the site improvements around it, with completion scheduled for September 2027.

A new fire station has an immediate, lasting impact on the community it serves, and we’re proud to play a part in bringing it to life.

Round two on the Co-Op Office Building in Hutto 👏👏

We built the whole building from the ground up first, including the lobby with its warm wood, open glass, and room to gather. Then we got the call to come back and build out the third floor for a Fortune 500 tech company.

That was 15,105 SF of open workstations, executive offices, conference and huddle rooms, a training room, coffee bars, and an outdoor terrace. It's a good feeling to finish a building you started.

We're proud to celebrate the completion of the new Texas Humane Heroes Dog Kennel, Phase Two of our continued partnership with an organization doing incredible work for Central Texas animals as a no-kill shelter.

Different project, same mission: build spaces that make an immediate impact on the communities they serve. Grateful for the continued trust and proud to help Texas Humane Heroes grow their lifesaving work.

A special recognition for someone who has been part of this story from the beginning.

For more than 30 years, Teresa Elliott has been part of the King Construction story. What started with a single project for NYOS Charter School grew into decades of partnership, trust, and shared commitment to students, families, and education across Central Texas.

Teresa was also the first person to call John “The Client’s Contractor.” A phrase that stuck because it reflected exactly how he approached the work and the people behind it.

Relationships like this don't happen overnight. They are built project by project, year by year.

As Senior Estimator, Ed Lambert spends his days analyzing plans, solving problems, and helping lay the groundwork for successful projects before construction ever begins.

Approaching his first year with King Construction, Ed has become a valuable part of the team through his industry knowledge, attention to detail, and steady approach to every challenge that comes his way. At King Construction, we bid projects as if we are going to go build them tomorrow. When pre-construction is done right, the build is protected.
