As Architectural Job Captain, you will be a part of the design, documentation, and organization of a wide range of projects from small to large. Our work ranges from urban multi-family to high end residential to hospitality and corporate office. This position requires at least 5 years of full-time experience overseeing the development of project documentation from concept to construction. Qualified candidates should have a strong work ethic, an intrinsic curiosity about materials, wonder about how things are made and love the art of documentation. And have a sense of humor.
Responsibilities:
Site analysis, as-built documentation, drawing and document set-up
Design documentation: sketching and modelling (both digital and physical)
Construction documentation, drawing and detailing.
Project communication including consultants, clients, and contractors
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Architecture, minimum
Minimum 5 years experience in architecture or design firm
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Suite
Strong graphic presentation skills and a love for visual communication
Technical detailing experience and understanding
A quick mind and a sense of humor, and the ability to tell a good story
