If a storm damages any member-owned equipment, the member is responsible for repairs. Members should hire a licensed electrician when making any repairs to member-owned equipment.

Back-to-school means e-bikes and e-scooters are as common as backpacks. Start the school year with safe charging habits. Charge your e-bikes and e-scooters safely. Always charge your battery outdoors in a flat, dry area away from direct sunlight. Smart charging habits can help prevent fires at home and at the dorm.
o Use the charger made for your device
o Plug directly into a wall outlet — don’t use extension cords or power strips
o Charge on a flat, dry surface away from anything that can catch fire
o Keep batteries out of hallways, doorways and exits
o Unplug when fully charged
