Excel Energy Group

Excel Energy Group Excel specializes in energy efficient lighting upgrades for K-12, higher education, government, hosp

In 1992, founder and CEO Scotty Caroom set out to change the way schools used energy in the mid-south. From the beginning, it was “my ambition to achieve two goals in our business—to furnish kids a better learning environment with enhanced lighting and to save schools money,” states Scotty. So, for the last nearly 30 years, Excel Energy Group has met and exceeded those two goals with over 1900 dis

tricts throughout the United States. However, the company has evolved over the years to service higher education, government, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and retail projects as well. Our mission and vision has evolved through our continued growth as well. While we remain dedicated to those two goals, we have expanded our scope. We are committed to saving any organization (not just schools) money through customized energy efficient solutions while simultaneously reducing their carbon footprint. Furthermore, by using cutting-edge lighting technologies, we can improve working and learning environments by supplying cleaner, whiter, more natural looking light that requires less energy (and therefore less money) to obtain. We are so confident in our ability to save you money that we contractually guarantee your savings—if your decreased energy bills do not pay for the entire cost of the project, we will repay the difference. Our company is committed to excellence in energy efficiency. It is our sole desire to help organizations save more money, use less energy, emit less pollution, and help provide optimal learning and working environments for all of our clients. That is why our customers remain our most credible marketing resource—their positive experiences with Excel Energy Group’s dedication to excellence help our products sell themselves. We sincerely hope that your organization will choose to enjoy our customized, turnkey approach to your energy efficiency needs.

Welcome Reeves Regional Health Center to our growing list of SECO wins!

Reeves Regional Health Center had $240,000 in SECO funding approved for a full facility-wide LED lighting upgrade. The project kicks off this fall and comes at no cost to the hospital.

We have said it before, but this program genuinely changes things for facilities that normally wouldn’t have the budget for improvements like this. We're so glad to have Reeves Regional on the list!

Today we are excited to add Moore County Hospital District to our growing list of SECO success stories.

The hospital just had $240,000 in SECO funding approved for a facility-wide LED lighting upgrade.

Communities heavily depend on hospitals like Moore County, and we are proud to play a part in keeping that facility at its best.

We’re looking forward to getting started and will share more as the project gets underway!

Closing out this week with some great news from Roby CISD.

They just had $200,000 in SECO funding approved for LED lighting upgrades across their facilities. It's at no cost to the district, and is scheduled to start this fall. We could not ask for a better way to wrap up the first week of August!

More updates to come as we get closer to the project, we are super excited for Roby CISD!

We are back with another SECO approval, and this time we are heading to Paducah, Texas.

Paducah Independent School District recently had $200,000 in SECO funding approved for a district-wide LED lighting upgrade. The project will be completed at no cost to the district, so they can continue to improve their facilities without any restraints.

Helping schools free up budget space is something we talk about a lot internally, and Paducah ISD is a great example of what that actually looks like in practice.

Thank you to Paducah ISD for the opportunity. We can't wait to get started later this year!

Happy Thursday everybody! Today we are excited to share the latest addition to our SECO series, Marfa Independent School District.

Marfa ISD recently had $200,000 in SECO funding approved for a district-wide LED lighting upgrade. Just like all of the schools and hospitals we have featured, the project will be completed at absolutely no cost to the district.

We have always loved working in West Texas, and Marfa is no exception. Being trusted to come in and improve a school that means so much to its community is not something we take for granted.

Congratulations to Marfa ISD, we are so excited to start this project!

Good things are happening in Snyder, Texas, and Cogdell Memorial Hospital is at the center of it.

Cogdell Memorial recently had more than $210,000 in SECO funding approved for a facility-wide LED lighting upgrade. The project will be completed at no cost to the hospital, freeing them up to keep their focus on what they do best.

These facilities are busy every hour of the day, and the environment they create for their staff and patients matters. We are really glad that SECO funding makes it possible for a facility like Cogdell to address it without ever having to find room in their budget for it.

Thank you to Cogdell Memorial for the opportunity, we look forward to getting started!

Another day, another reason to love what we do.

Ira Independent School District recently had more than $200,000 in SECO funding approved for a district-wide LED lighting upgrade, all at no cost to the district.

Ira is a small Texas town, and like a lot of small Texas towns, the school is the center of it all. Getting to play even a small role in keeping that community's facilities in good shape is something we do not take lightly. These are the projects that stick with you.

Congratulations to Ira ISD. We are honored to be a part of this one!

Another week, another SECO success story to share, and this one comes from a Texas school district we are really proud to be working with.

Guthrie Common School District recently had more than $200,000 in SECO funding approved for an LED lighting upgrade across their facilities. The entire project will be completed at no cost to the district, so they get the improvements they need without it ever touching their budget.

Every time we help a school get to this point it feels like a win worth celebrating. These districts have real needs and limited resources, and finding a way to bridge that gap is something our team genuinely cares about.

We appreciate Guthrie Common School District for trusting Excel Energy Group with this project and look forward to seeing it through.

We are continuing to share our SECO wins across Texas, and Excelsior Independent School District is up next.

The district recently had more than $125,000 in SECO funding approved for a LED lighting upgrade across their facilities. The project will be completed at no cost to the district, meaning the improvements they have been wanting can finally move forward without weighing on their budget.

Helping schools and hospitals get to that point is one of the best parts of what we do. We know how long some of these projects sit on the wishlist, and being the team that helps make them happen means a lot to us.

We are grateful for the trust Excelsior ISD has placed in Excel Energy Group and look forward to getting to work!

Morgan ISD is the latest addition to our SECO series, and we're happy to share the details.

They recently had more than $175,000 in SECO funding approved for a district-wide LED lighting upgrade. The project will be completed at absolutely no cost to the district, so improvements to their facilities can move forward without taking anything away from their budget.

One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is helping schools and hospitals take advantage of opportunities like this. From identifying funding to developing the project and carrying out the work, we love being part of the process every step of the way.

We're grateful for the trust Morgan ISD has placed in Excel Energy Group and look forward to getting started on the upgrades.
