Three weeks ago when we bought the fabulous All-Ellectric Toyota BZ, gasoline was $2.79 a gallon and a kilowatt hour was 21 cents.

Now gas is $3.59 a gallon and a kWh is still 21 cents, and much, much less if you go solar!

From Smith Maple Crest Farm LLC, one of our solar-powered maple producers. The solar modules are on top of the sugar house, which is working overtime in advance of Maple Open House Weekend later this month. Wisely, the modules are installed with plenty of clearance to the steam exhaust vents!
