🎖️❄️ People Assisting the Homeless - PATH is EVERYWHERE for California’s veterans! ❄️🎖️

26,000 individuals served each year. 25,000+ people housed since 2013. PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) is a California powerhouse — and Frances Torres, their onsite SSVF Representative at the West LA VA (VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System), is a total Cool Air Rebate CHAMPION! 💪

Frances shared our materials with her director for distribution across PATH’s California network, applied for the program herself, and stood with us at the La Puente Spring Connect Job Fair on April 15 to spread the word to veterans and families. That’s next-level advocacy! 🌟

Her insight from the field said it all — for veterans living in their vehicles, vehicle assistance is a form of housing assistance. THIS is why partnerships like this matter! 🚗❄️

☀️ Meet Danny Leon from Murrieta, California! ☀️

Our Community Partner team met Danny during his lunch break in an avocado grove, where his work truck had already reached the 90s before noon. 🥵

“I drive around all day in a truck that reaches the 90s before noon. It’s not safe, and this program will make it safer for me to do my job.”

Right there on his lunch break, Danny pulled out his phone and applied for the Cool Air Rebate Program — and was surprised by how quick and easy it was. A few minutes, a few questions, and he was done. ❄️

This program is helping Californians stay cooler and safer on the road every day.
