A look at the transformation along the Carbon Canyon Channel in Orange County, CA.

As part of the OC Loop Segment D Bikeway Gap Closure project, our team used the Giken Silent Piler to install permanent sheet pile retaining walls supporting the new bikeway. With residential properties nearby, the low-noise, vibration-free press-in method was an important part of the installation.

A look at our Intermodal Drive Seepage Cutoff project in Winter Haven, Florida.

Our team installed 150 LF of permanent steel sheet pile using the Giken Silent Piler. The cutoff wall will support a new industrial development, with press-in installation selected to minimize vibrations and disturbance to the surrounding area.

The ABI and Giken teamed up for some tough ground conditions in Lincoln, CA.

We installed temporary sheet pile shoring for the launch and reception shafts to enable a new HDPE sanitary sewer crossing beneath Auburn Ravine. Soil conditions included very dense, partially cemented material and areas of weathered bedrock. The Giken was especially beneficial at the receiving pit due to its proximity to the roadway and surrounding infrastructure.

Seawall installation underway in St. Augustine, Florida.

We’re installing 1,571 LF of sheet pile using the Giken Silent Piler as part of the seawall replacement project at the Bridge of Lions. The project is intended to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility while strengthening roadway protection during king tides.

The Press-In Method allows the crew to install piles without noise or vibration while keeping impacts to the surrounding waterfront area to a minimum.
