As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, construction activity at the Placer Parkway project near the Whitney Ranch Parkway overcrossing at Highway 65 will pause on May 22 for the 2026 Mental Health in Construction Media Day & Standdown hosted by AGC of California and Teichert Construction.🦺💚🚧
The event will bring together construction leaders, contractors, labor organizations, public agencies, and craft workers to continue important conversations around mental health in the construction industry and reinforce that supporting workers goes beyond physical safety alone.
It’s also an opportunity to recognize the men and women helping build California’s future while continuing to break down stigmas surrounding mental health and encourage a stronger culture of support across the industry.
