Calling all coders! Students can take a screenshot of their completed Hour of Code activity and send it to [email protected] to receive a certificate of completion, a button, and an entry into a raffle for a Barnes & Noble gift card! Mark your calendars for December 7 -12 and get ready to have some coding fun at code.org!
The Hour of Code takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week, which is December 7-12, 2020. The Hour of Code is a global movement introducing tens of millions of students worldwide to computer science, inspiring kids to learn more, breaking stereotypes, and leaving them feeling empowered. We encourage kids and teens to try their first hour of computer science on Code.org at home on their computers, tablets, or smartphones! Code.org’s own activities feature Minecraft, Star Wars, Frozen, Angry Birds, and Plants vs. Zombies. CodeBytes will be live streaming 20-minute interactive lessons, twice a day, 12/7-12/11! Learn more at code.org/codebytes.
