Recent Custom Built Recording Console Power Supply Systems

Just a reminder that we rebuild, restore, recap, update, modify and basically re-new & greatly improve the channel strips for most *professional* recording and broadcast consoles!

We work on the largest Neve consoles to small portable field audio consoles, and everything in between.

A very popular upgrade that we do is with the installation of the Graham Langley (AMEK console company founder) 'Langley' Microphone & Line input pre-amp upgrade boards.

These relatively inexpensive pre-amp boards replace the circuitry in your Amek channel strips and make a big difference in the audio quality of your channel strip's microphone pre-amp circuitry!

Improved low and mid low freqency response. Improved high frequency response, lower noise floor and lower phase distortion are the main improvements you'll note with these Langley upgrade mic & line input boards.

We have 53 Power Supply Systems in production currently for customers around the world.

Our Digital/Linear hybrid power supplies in the 2U chassis have become very popular with 23 orders in house now, nearly half of the PSUs currently in production!

We have just shipped out 5 of our newest designed micro-processor controlled power supply systems for larger format consoles (SSL and Neve consoles). 1 to Germany, 2 to Canada, 1 to France and 1 to Japan.

3 NEW GRS MS-18, SSL-4000 Console type Power Supply Systems have shipped Internationally. One is off to Brazil, one to Spain and one to France.

We are also in process of building 2 GRS Power Supply Systems for a couple of MCI JH-400 console owners here in the USA. And we are building a very big PSU system for a very unique Harrison console!

And we also have a power supply systems we are building for two Trident 80b console owners!

Busy, busy busy! Keeping Analog Consoles alive & well.

9 New GRS Power Supply Systems shipped in February!

Many systems CUSTOM BUILT for various DDA consoles, a couple of SSL console power supplies, an MCI-JH-500 console power supply. A system for a Trident 80b console and a very large multiple system for a AMEK Media-51 console!

It's been a very busy couple of months! Lots of new custom built power supply orders as well a recording console repairs, upgrades and mods.

Our newest power supply designs include micro-processor controlled operating systems and new silent cooling fans! And they really are silent! Great for quiet control room installations.

We have been building custom power supply systems to power the entire line SSL recording consoles since 1987. Here's a few pictures of a system we built for a studio in Sweden.

We just delivered over 60 (67 to be exact) new GRS custom built power supply systems to our fulfillment packaging and shipping service company to be shipped out to our patiently waiting customers!

We had a terrible time these last few months with our metal fabrication vendor. They went through a complete rebuild of the production machinery and anodizing system.Their production and finishing lines were down for almost 90 days while our orders for our chassis cabnets and panels waited to be completed!

And as a result, we were backed up in finishing off these 67 power supply systems for 3 months! This was not a pleasant experience for us nor for our customers. But all of these GRS Custom Built Power Supply Systems are finally going out this week! Whew!
