I am happy to announce that we have been selected to handle the remodel of Governor’s Quarters. We are beyond excited to get started on this extremely unique project and get them opened back up for business. We will be working hard to get them reopened and serving their valued customers once again! Keep in mind they are still open Thursday-Saturday in their upstairs venue stop in and check them out and show your support during this difficult time! And stay tuned for updates.
Some great news.........
Our insurance adjuster approved a contractor and electrician to begin working on the inside of the building. Work will start TOMORROW! Our new tap system is on order. The bar top is currently under construction.
It has been somewhat of an adventure to sort through the quotes and figure out what works best. There were many options/choices to sort out and issues to overcome. The material to repair our ceiling has been out of production for a century. The flooring has also been out of production for close to 50 years. The tongue and groove pine. No luck on that! There is pine produced today BUT nothing like what we have. Our challenge was deciding if we want to change the look or figure out something else.
It will be a little different where we can't help it, but very familiar. We are just as curious as everyone else to see the finished product.
