Good Morning! Been a while!

Maintenance contracts are finally starting to get sent out. I am about 1/4 of the way through them right now. Please be patient, you will see them soon.
If you are not on my list and want to get one, please call or text me. Do not use messenger as I rarely check that.

Trane announced a 5% price increase effective 4/1 on most of their equipment. Mitsubishi will not be doing an increase at this time.

I am looking into hiring another service/installer. If anyone is interested, please contact me for details.

Thank you and have a great weekend!!
Ryan

Good morning everyone.

I am still looking for a service/installer. This person will be salaried at 40 hours for a wage. No overtime (family is more important). Company van provided.
Please contact me for more details.
Pay will be based upon experience, however we can train.

Position is needed and available immediately.

Expansion of the business is progressing...I will also be taking applications for a possible position available this fall.

Please call me, do not message through facebook.

Thank you.
Ryan

Good Morning!

Its been a while since I posted anything so I suppose I should update you on where we stand with the business.

KHC is now a Trane dealer instead of American Standard. That move happened so I would be able to keep my main equipment supplier. Really no difference between the units other than the brand name. That was effective January 1st.

A lot of you are aware of this but I did hire a service technician last fall. Gavin Freeze is now employed with us. He will be doing the majority of the service work as well as installations. Very good individual and very thorough as well.

Maintenance contracts have been mailed out according to who I have on my list. If you have not received one and are interested, please call me. Do not use messenger as I have my notifications turned off.

I will be looking to hire another individual this year. Possibly this spring/early summer. This person would be doing a combination of service and installation. Pay will be based upon experience. This individual would also get a company van after they get their feet wet.

That should cover everything for now. Have a great day and hopefully we will get some warm weather soon!!!

Just an FYI. We are starting to get back on track. Any unfulfilled maintenance will be completed within the next two weeks.
Fall maintenance will be starting earlier than normal to open up capacity. We will begin to complete that starting in the first week of September. Possibly earlier.
Thank you all for your patience through the last 2 months! I really do appreciate it!

Good Morning.
This is one of the hardest posts I will ever write.
Saturday morning my wife passed away. Cause is not known yet.
Due to this unexpected change, certain things may change in the business.
One will be the following:
Effective 6/21 I will be accepting applications for a full-time service position. This position will be salaried. You will most likely not get 40 hours but will be paid for 40. I am not in a position to offer insurance, but wage will be compensated for it and can get you in contact with an insurance person. Wage will depend upon experience and mechanical aptitude. Company van will be provided (guess I better go get one). Pride in work, positive attitude, quality before quantity mindset, honest and straight-forward talk, and excellent people skills are a must. 6/21 I will be accepting applications. Please not before.

Secondly:
Expect short term service delays. I have quite a few maintenance contracts to satisfy. Please be patient. John or I will be there. I do have 2 girls at home that take priority over anything or anyone.

Lastly:
The girls and I will be leaving tomorrow morning to get away for a couple days. I will not be around for any service calls. Please contact Maple Valley for any emergency service. Next week my daughter Sage has a dance competition in the Dells so I may not be around for a day or two.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Good Morning!

Just a heads up that it's that time of year again.
KHC will be closed from June 8th - June 16th. We will be on vacation. No emergency service will be available.

Thank you!

Bad news bears again.

Massive price increase for air conditioners coming this fall. EPA regulations are kicking in again. R410a refrigerant models, which is what the current units we sell uses, will be no longer manufactured come this fall. The "new and improved" refrigerant models will be out on the market instead.
Price increases for the products that I provide will be going upwards around the 20% range. Other manufacturers and brands will be going up around the 30% - 35% range.

So yeah....Fun.

If you were thinking of replacing, might be a good idea to try and get it done before fall. Who knows when/if the prices will ever come down.

Been a while since I posted anything. Sorry about that.

I will be mailing out maintenance contracts for 2024 within the next 2 weeks. To save some time, some may get them through email. Been extremely busy over the 'winter' (I guess we can call it that), and I am finally getting to it. If you are not normally on the maintenance schedule and want to be, please contact me ASAP.

I am already booked into mid-April for installations, so if you are planning on replacing anything, please contact me soon so we can get something scheduled. Emergency installs always take priorities but let's not get to that point.

Equipment costs have been staying steady right now. No increase in sight for now. We did go through a 5% or so increase on some American Standard equipment on January 1st. Mitsubishi systems had an increase in the fall of 2023, so hopefully we don't see another one anytime soon.

Mitsubishi should be having their spring promo coming up soon. I do not have all the details yet, but I should know more in a few weeks.

Thank you,
Ryan Klappperich

Price increases again!!

If you are interested in a ductless AC/Heat pump system, see below...

On April 4,2023, Mitsubishi Electric announced up to a 7% price increase on select residential and commercial equipment effective June 5, 2023. METUS has reviewed opportunities to control or reduce costs, but the continued Global supply chain cost increases and general inflation incurred requires the price increase.

Also, this is from my supplier:
• Orders must be purchased and invoiced by June 4,2023 and will be invoiced at the current pricing. Quantity limits may apply based on availability.
This would mean that I would have to have the order delivered and in my shop by June 4th.

If interested in a system, please let me know ASAP so we can get the ball rolling. An $8,000 installation will cost at least $8,560 after June 4th.

Thanks,
Ryan

Happy Easter Everyone from the Klapperich Family!

Tis the season to start thinking about your AC unit. May is filling up quickly already with maintenance and installations. I am currently booked through mid-May with installs. Let's get the ball rolling so we can get you scheduled.

If you haven't sent your maintenance contract back yet, please do so. We will be scheduling and contacting people with in 2 weeks.

If you have a boiler system and want AC, Mitsubishi is running a great rebate program right now, and also there is a really good rebate from Focus on Energy. Contact me for more information.
Please call when inquiring as I do not text and drive.

Thank you!

Recent boiler installation. Replaced a 210,000btu cast iron Burnham boiler with a Weil-Mclain Eco Tec 199. We prefabbed the supply manifold with pumps on a plywood board at the shop, removed the zone valve controls, modified the gas piping, modified the feed water, and modified the venting for the water heater.
All in all, this was a 4-day installation with the customer being without heat for 6 hours. We framed up the board and boiler mount with the unit running and also cored 2 holes through a 24" foundation wall for venting.
