We're Hiring!
We are looking for a qualified residential framing carpenters. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of residential framing and the carpentry skills that go along with it. We are looking for a detail oriented, self-motivated person. Working with little supervision while following all safety standards and building codes.
Skills & Responsibilities
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings and sketches
• Take measurements and have accuracy with cutting and measuring
• Build framing for windows, doors, stairs, fireplace, gables etc.
• Lay out of walls
• Proven experience as carpenter
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, tapes etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Good knowledge of English
• Good understanding of basic math
• Good physical condition and endurance
• High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is not required but helpful.
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: Carpentry, 2 years (Required)
License: Minnesota Drivers License and own transportation is required.
Work authorization: United States (Required)
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Benefits: Paid Time Off
Schedule: Monday to Friday
