🎉 Congratulations to Jason Davis on 10 YEARS of service with Maginnis Construction! 🎉

Now, before anyone starts doing math… yes, Jason was actually our VERY FIRST employee. But somewhere along the way he selfishly decided to leave us for “greener pastures” (his words, not ours 😏).

As a result, those first four years have been officially erased from Maginnis history, and we’re celebrating 10 CONSECUTIVE years instead. Rules are rules.

Whether he’s leading one of our commercial projects or working on LSU’s campus, Jason brings the same dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude to everything he does.

To know Jason is to love him. He’s the kind of employee every company hopes to find and the kind of teammate we’re incredibly fortunate to have. His impact on Maginnis over the years is impossible to measure, and our company is better because he’s been a part of it.

After years of patiently waiting, he’ll finally receive the coveted 10-Year Service Trophy at this year’s Christmas Dinner. We can’t wait to celebrate him—and remind him that if he leaves again, the clock starts over. 😆

We Are Hiring!

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Commercial Superintendent at Maginnis Construction Company, LLC. The Commercial Superintendent will oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

-Project Management, Construction Management, and Site Supervision skills
-Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
-Strong communication and leadership skills
-Knowledge of construction processes and building codes
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve effectively
-Experience in commercial construction projects
-OSHA certification is a plus

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of Bayou Sara Brewing Co in the heart of St. Francisville!

This locally owned brewery is the vision of two West Feliciana families who set out to create more than just a place to enjoy great craft beer — they set out to build a gathering space rooted in community. What began as a passion for homebrewing evolved into a full-scale brewery and taproom designed to bring people together over quality brews, good food, and live entertainment.

The project included transforming the historic Bennett Ford building on Commerce St. into a welcoming, thoughtfully designed brewhouse and restaurant space. Every detail was carefully executed to honor the character of St. Francisville while delivering a modern, functional environment for both guests and staff.

Bayou Sara Brewing Company is already becoming a destination for locals and visitors alike — and we are honored to have played a role in bringing this vision to life.

Congratulations to the ownership team and everyone involved in making this project a success. Cheers to new beginnings and continued growth in our community! 🍺

ST. FRANCISVILLE - The annual Christmas in the Country parade rolled through St. Francisville on Sunday, spreading holiday cheer as beads were tossed out to parade-goers along the route.

🎄✨ We had an incredible day participating in the St. Francisville Christmas Parade! The holiday spirit was strong, the community showed up in full force, and we loved being part of it.

🏆 Even more exciting — we were awarded Best Float! Huge thanks to everyone on our team who helped bring the vision to life, and to the parade organizers for a magical event.
