Today, we honor Sandy Walheim as she retires after five years with ETS Laboratories, closing an extraordinary career in the wine industry.

Known for her dedication, kindness, and passion for mentoring others, Sandy made a lasting impact on everyone she worked with. Her advice: be patient, learn the “why,” and always lead with kindness.

We are deeply grateful for the time we’ve shared and wish Sandy a beautiful next chapter filled with the things she loves most.

As we all know, summers in Paso are HOT! While this is great for things like BBQ’s and wine tasting, it can pose challenges for maintaining heat stability in wine. At ETS, we have tools to help predict heat stability. Our team performs heat stability checks, which assess whether a wine is heat-stable, and trials, which help winemakers determine bentonite addition levels. We can perform these trials with a variety of bentonites to best suit your needs.
