Last week we repaired an H frame for a 966e wheel loader.

Fixed misc cracks on the frame and line-bored the center link Pin ears.

Was a small chore to get the ears welded up by hand but we got it handled.

Used a cheap Amazon boring machine and I’m extremely impressed how well it worked.

Center link pin holes on this H frame for a Cat loader were just a bit over sized.

Welded up by hand, but sure looks like I used a bore welder.

Going to set up the boring machine and cut some fresh holes.
