Here’s a picture of our almost completed new handicap dock. Your donations through Carnival games, purchasing of car tickets (which is a 2025 Mustang this year) and other events through the year all help fund upkeep on the park, provide eye exams, and a plethora of other service projects throughout the year.

A Heartfelt Thank You from Rolla Public Schools

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support from our community in helping us move our teachers. In just over six hours, with the help of our amazing staff and dedicated volunteers, we successfully moved 90 classrooms!

More details about Friday’s storm.

NWS survey crews concluded that an EF-2 tornado with peak winds of 120 mph started 4 miles SE of Doolittle and tracked northeast through southeastern portions of Rolla. The tornado crossed I-44 before lifting just south of the Little Prairie Conservation area. The tornado damaged several homes with one person injured. Significant roof damage was noted to some homes. Multiple schools and businesses also sustained roof damage with several plate glass windows blow out. Surveys of other tornadoes are still ongoing across our area. We will continue to release results after we've gathered all information and concluded the surveys.

From there, they will assign volunteers to assist with cleanup.

It may not look like much, but when someone reached out because her deck door handle broke just a few days before her home inspection, Rosemann Construction, LLC. was able to track down a replacement, remove the broken handle, and install the new one. All done in time for the inspector’s visit, which hopefully leads to a successful home sale. Sometimes the small jobs really are a big deal.
