Concrete works fine when a space is purely functional.
But the moment you start expecting more from that space, the limitations show up quickly.
Dust becomes more noticeable. Stains stand out. The surface feels inconsistent or harder to maintain.
This is especially common in garages and basements where the space starts being used more regularly.
That is usually the turning point.
Not because something is wrong, but because expectations have changed.
And when expectations change, the surface needs to match how the space is actually being used.
