Cleaning the inside evaporator of a mini-split is critical to maintaining system performance and indoor air quality. As dust and debris build up on the coil, airflow becomes restricted, forcing the unit to work harder and use more energy to maintain temperature. This not only increases utility costs but also puts unnecessary strain on internal components. A dirty evaporator can also harbor mold and bacteria, which are then circulated throughout the home, impacting health and comfort. Regular cleaning helps prevent breakdowns, extends equipment lifespan, and ensures the system delivers consistent, efficient heating and cooling year-round for optimal comfort and reliability.

IMPORTANT!!!!

The other owners and I have been discussing a "Trade-In" scenario for the units that we installed in our first couple years of existence.

When we first started installing and distributing minisplits, the minisplit options were much different. Some of the first units I sold did not even have a heat option, they were strictly AC only. Then we also started to see the Inverter really become a necessary option that we needed to be able to offer to our customers. We also have seen the warranty increase all the way up 10 years parts/compressor warranty, such as 1 to 2 years, as before. We also started to be recognized by companes such as Daiken, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and many others. In the end we decided to go with Cooper&Hunter. So alot of changes have happened in 5 years, and we would love to get everyone on the same page.

What we are offering??
We are offering to let our customers have the oppprtunity to trade-in their minisiplit (certain units only), to upgrade to our now Cooper&Hunter Units.

Requirements

1) Units must pass a thorough inspection before trade-in is accepted by us.

2) Customer will be required to forfeit previous unit.

3) The electrical done previously will not be credited towards trade-in (it would of needed to be done anyway for the unit to operate).

4) We will be working everyone in the schedule in the order they call.

5) We will require the cost of the unit up front. We usually do not require any money down until job is over (tell me one contractor that does that, there is only one, IT'S US!!!). But unfortunately, we cannot pull units from our current working stock for this, units will all need to be ordered.

6) The units to be installed will all be the Cooper&Hunter HyperHeat model.

7) An estimate will be done for the new Cooper&Hunter Hyperheat to be installed, the remainder of the price difference, after new unit cost between original Unit/Install and new Unit/Install, is required to be paid the same day as the new unit is completed.

8) Each previous unit will have its trade-in value assessed and determained on many different conditions.

9) Only applies to our units that we installed.

ATTENTION TO EVERYONE!!

Please make sure and read your owners manual. Make sure that your model of unit is rated for the upcoming temps. Even though the unit will still work fine, it is never advised to operate outside of the manufacturers specs. These are the types of winter weather storms that make us stress the importance of purchasing our Cooper&Hunter HyperHeat units.

Important fact:

Heat pump ratings, such as heating capacity and efficiency (COP), are based on the actual ambient air temperature, not the wind chill factor. While wind chill makes it feel colder to humans and increases home heat loss, the heat pump relies on the thermal energy present in the surrounding air to function, which is measured by the ambient temperature.

BIG NEWS!!!!

In the new year, we will be creating a sister company. The sister company will be called Mr. Mechanical, mainly doing all tradational, residential, and commercial HVAC systems. People do not understand that we work on all different types of HVAC systems, and my company carries the highest degree of licensing that an HVAC company can obtain. If we wanted to work in the Empire State Building, we have the licensing, to in fact, be able to legally work it.

Over the last 2 years, our 2 different names that we have ran by, both have involved the word minisplit. So with this being said, I can understand why people never had a clue that we do in fact work on everything. Well, let me take that back. I always leave the boiler work up to Eric Bressler at Hometown Comfort LLC..... πŸ€£πŸ˜‚He is going to kill me when he sees this.

Part of the confusion is due, to we are the biggest Minisplit company in the state of Missouri, and if not possibly the entire Midwest. This is not bragging, this is not arrogance. Just facts to help understand the confusion of not understanding we work on everything. Many times, we would be on an installation or a service call, and the client would literally have a company there working on their furnace. Next thing we know, due to their crazy labor cost, talking to their customer like HVAC slang is Japanese, and seeing how slow they work compared to us....and them showing us the bill 🫣... they are having us back in 3 months to service their AC for the summer.

At the moment, we are full with a few big commercial minisplit jobs that will be taking us well into the later part of February. We will put the announcement out when we will start our openings for all HVAC systems.

***This might upset people, but this is just how I operate. Some appreciate loyalty at the end of the day. We will not be working on any traditional HVAC systems inside the lines of Atchison County Missouri. Someone that I respect in the HVAC world already has that area covered. If anyone calls us from that area, you will be guided to Eric Bressler at Hometown Comfort LLC. I talk to Eric very frequently, people always have a misconception that we do not get along 🀣🀣. He will also probably agree, I text him to vent more than anyone.

Once again, we will announce when we are ready to start taking calls....

If anyone has ever had work from us done, guranteed, you already know who will be playing the character of "Mr. Mechanical" in the new commercials.....🀣🀣🀣 20% off your.next service cleaning for people that can guess right in the comments.

Well since my buddy is on a rant with his HVAC company....I guess we will as well...

FOR ANY REASON!!!! If we are asked to come to check a minisplit that might be having problems....YOU ARE GETTING A SERVICE CALL FEE of $150.00!!!!

***Price will vary due to location. For example, to our clients in South Dakota, you would obviously be more than $150.00.

Many times people call us, and they think that their minisplit is having problems. 99% of the time, it is user error. For years, if it was a simple mistake, we would be a little lax on billing and not charge people. Over the years, we have lost thousands, if not 10s of thousands dollars, having a big heart, and having an understanding that people just might not understand how these work. On one unit last year alone, I lost around $3,000 on one customer that decided to chip the ice off the unit with an ice pick, and punctured the coils. We tried to keep a good name, by doing whatever we could to help them, but sometimes, you just have to say.....NO... I am still having to pay my guys $40 to $60 an hr, the fuel going 140 to 500 miles, and the time its taking us from our scheduled installs. Unfortunately, people taking advantage of the situation, and us as a company, has now made it to where it does not matter if you are Donald Trump, Patrick Mahomes, or even my sister.... YOU ALL WILL BE GETTING CHARGED!!!!

****AND READ YOUR OWNER MANUALS!!! We offer many different brands, and each model heats at a different minimum temp.... Some are 22, some are 5, some are 0, some -5, some are -13, some are -22... Do not expect me to honor warranty when you say... "Yeah man i leave it on all the time, it hasn't ever had a problem....and your unit is rated at 22.....and you wonder why it is not working this year. Another thing, these circuit boards have a built in control sensor, when gone under desire temps, it registers that it has gone under its specs.....in other words....VOIDED WARRANTY!!!

I could go on and on and on... I do in fact know this, because I have modified this 6 times....

Think this is so AWESOME!!!

This is our first year we sponsored the KQ2 Friday Night Lights Program for the local area high school football teams. NOW THE BLUE JAYS ARE GOING TO STATE!!!!

Rock Port is where one of the other owners and I grew up, still live, and raise our families today. In fact, Jordan Shrader (one of the owners) is one of the football coaches to this program, and his boy Blaise #8 (I love calling him "The Headhunter", kids an animal) also plays on the team as well. HOW AWESOME!!!

Such an honor to be able to do this, and be on the same channel as these guys. GREAT JOB GUYS!!! Keep it up. One more to go.

(ROCK PORT, Mo.) The top-ranked team in Missouri 8-man football took care of business Saturday and will play in its first state title game since 1990.
