Earlier this summer, we celebrated 25 years of Edgewater Automation with many of the people who have been part of that journey.

Over the years, Edgewater has grown in size, capabilities, and the industries we serve, but that growth has always come back to the people behind it. The employees who have built their careers here, the customers who have trusted us with their projects, and the partners and suppliers who have worked alongside us.

Our 25th anniversary brought many of those people together under one roof, along with their families and members of our community. Looking back at these photos, we're grateful for everyone who has had a hand in making Edgewater what it is today.

We’re proud of what we’ve built over the past 25 years and grateful to everyone who has been part of it.

Our mechanical engineering interns, Daniel and Rebecca, are wrapping up their final week at Edgewater before heading to college this fall.

They spent the summer working at both our St. Joseph and Buchanan locations, where they contributed to customer projects and gained hands-on experience with custom automation. They had the opportunity to see how engineering is applied in a working manufacturing environment and get a firsthand look at how projects come together.

Daniel and Rebecca have made a big impact on our team this summer, and we’ve really enjoyed having them at Edgewater. We appreciate everything they’ve contributed and wish them both a great year ahead at school!

One of our favorite summer traditions in downtown St. Joseph is Chalk the Block.

This year, local artist Courtney Bennett created this incredible lion at the space we sponsored, earning an Amateur Honorable Mention. Congratulations, Courtney, on a well-deserved recognition!

It's always fun to see so much creativity on display throughout downtown. Thanks to everyone who helps make Chalk the Block such a great community event each year.

Repetitive lifting and transferring of heavy components can create challenges for both productivity and ergonomics. By automating those tasks, manufacturers can improve consistency, support a safer work environment, and keep products moving efficiently from one operation to the next.

Our team in Buchanan, Michigan recently completed a successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for a material handling system designed to do exactly that. Two FANUC robots pick and place heavy components before stacking them onto KUKA autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), which transport the products to the next stage of production.

Pictured are two of our controls engineers and our mechanical engineering intern, who worked together to program the system and support Factory Acceptance Testing before it shipped to the customer's facility. Installation is now underway, and we'd like to thank everyone involved for another successful project.

Every automated system we build is designed around a customer's unique application.

This system, built for a repeat customer in the durable goods industry, combines 12 FANUC America Corporation robots with a SuperTrak CONVEYANCE™ platform to achieve a 1.7-second cycle time while maintaining the precision and repeatability required for high-volume manufacturing.

The build includes ten SCARA robots (SR-3iA and SR-6iA models) and two LR Mate 200iD robots working together throughout the process.

Watch the video below for a closer look at the system in action.

Every community has businesses that help shape its future. We're proud to be one of them in Buchanan.

Over the years, our Buchanan campus has grown into home for both Edgewater Automation and Edgewater Manufacturing. Together, our teams design, build, machine, fabricate, and support manufacturing solutions for customers across a wide range of industries, all while creating opportunities close to home.

If you've driven through downtown Buchanan recently, you've probably seen our billboard that reads, "Bringing Growth to Buchanan." Those words reflect something that's important to us. We believe advanced manufacturing can create meaningful careers, strengthen local businesses, and contribute to the long-term success of our community.

As we continue to grow, we're proud to invest in Buchanan and the people who call it home.

Twenty-five years in business is a milestone we're proud to celebrate.

On Friday, we opened the doors to our St. Joseph facility to celebrate Edgewater Automation's 25th anniversary.

It was a great day to welcome employees, their families, customers, partners, and members of our community, give tours of our facility, and reflect on how far we've come since 2001.

Many thanks to U.S. Representative Tim Walberg, Michigan State Representative Joey Andrews, and Dr. Donald McNeeley for their thoughtful keynote remarks.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to everyone who has been part of Edgewater over the past 25 years. We appreciate your support and look forward to what the future holds.

Automate is less than a week away!

One of the demos you'll see at the Edgewater Automation booth is a FANUC LR Mate 200iD using 2D iRVision to pick bottles from a rotating table and place them onto a conveyor.

Simple application. Good example of how vision can eliminate the need for precise part presentation.

If you're attending the show, stop by Booth No. 21011 and see it in action. Our team will be there all week talking about automation challenges manufacturers are working through every day.

Supporting a Great Cause in St. Joseph 🏃🏻‍♂️

A few members of the Edgewater Automation team spent their Saturday morning in St. Joseph participating in Alex's Duck Duck Run.

The event supports the Alex Mandarino Foundation, which helps children and families facing pediatric cancer. It was a great day to get outside, spend time with coworkers, and support a cause that means so much to so many families.

Thanks to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who came out to make the event possible.

We're grateful to have been a small part of it!

A recent visit from FANUC America Corporation to our Spartanburg, South Carolina facility came with some exciting news: Edgewater Automation was recognized with a 2025 Outstanding Sales Growth Award.

We're proud to receive the recognition, but we're even more proud of what it represents.
Every automation system starts with a manufacturer looking for a better way to do something. This award reflects the trust our customers place in our team to help solve those challenges and deliver results.

Thank you to FANUC for the recognition and continued partnership, and thank you to everyone at Edgewater who helps make achievements like this possible.
