A great day on the road for an even better cause! 🏁

Last month, we hosted our annual Poker Run fundraiser in support of five local FIRST Robotics teams. Drivers kicked off the morning at our Buchanan facility before heading out on a sheriff-escorted route, with stops hosted by each of the participating teams along the way.

Together, we raised $5,220, with each team receiving $1,044 to support their upcoming robotics season!

It was great to see students, mentors, families, employees, and community members come together for the event. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, or helped make the day possible.

A special thank you to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department for helping keep our drivers safe throughout the route.

We’d also like to recognize the sponsors who supported this year’s Poker Run:

We're hiring experienced CNC Machinists at two of our Southwest Michigan facilities!

Edgewater Automation and Edgewater Manufacturing are looking for skilled machinists who bring hands-on experience in CNC programming, machine setup, and precision machining.

We're looking for individuals who can take a part from blueprint to finished product, independently developing programs, determining machine setups, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring every component meets quality specifications.

Yesterday, we celebrated Jacob and Jordan as they officially graduated from Edgewater’s Mechanical Build Apprenticeship Program!

Throughout their apprenticeships, they’ve worked with skilled builders and gained hands-on experience building custom automation equipment.

Completing an apprenticeship takes a lot of time and commitment, and we’re proud to see both of them reach this milestone and continue their careers at Edgewater.

A great day on the course with an even better group of people. ⛳

Earlier this month, we held our annual Edgewater Automation Golf Outing at Beeches Golf Club, bringing together employees, customers, partners, and friends for a day on the course.

We’re almost one week away from the Edgewater Automation Poker Run for FIRST® Robotics! 🏁

There’s still time to sign up and join us Saturday, September 26, for a sheriff-escorted route starting and ending at our Buchanan facility.

Along the way, participants will make five stops hosted by local FIRST Robotics teams, collecting a playing card at each before returning to Edgewater for lunch, raffle prizes, and the winning hands.
Bring what you drive. Cars, motorcycles, trucks, SUVs, vans, and daily drivers are all welcome, and no poker experience is needed.

Day 4 at IMTS 2026! 🚨

It’s been a busy week in the Emerging Technology Center for our Edgewater Automation team.

We’ve had a steady crowd around the drone manufacturing demonstration, a lot of good questions about the automated assembly system our team built, and plenty of conversations about where this type of technology could be applied beyond what we’re showing here at IMTS.

Thanks to everyone who has stopped by so far. We still have two days to go, so if you’re at McCormick Place, come find our team in Booth No. 236700 and see the system running live.

IMTS 2026 is almost here, and we’re bringing something new to Chicago. 🚨

This year, Edgewater Automation is part of the AMT Emerging Technology Center, where our team has been working alongside industry partners on a live drone manufacturing demonstration.

Throughout the show, attendees will be able to watch our automated system assemble drones and then see the completed units take flight in the booth’s fly zone.

Find us in the North Building, Hall B1, Booth #236700 from September 14–19 at McCormick Place.

Automate is less than a week away!

One of the demos you'll see at the Edgewater Automation booth is a FANUC LR Mate 200iD using 2D iRVision to pick bottles from a rotating table and place them onto a conveyor.

Simple application. Good example of how vision can eliminate the need for precise part presentation.

If you're attending the show, stop by Booth No. 21011 and see it in action. Our team will be there all week talking about automation challenges manufacturers are working through every day.
