Breaking Ground in Wausau - FedEx Ground Project!

Strack Construction is bringing its commercial construction expertise to Wausau, Wisconsin, for a new FedEx Ground facility. This project marks our 8th FedEx project in partnership with Ruedebusch Development & Construction, continuing a valued relationship built on trust, teamwork, and successful project delivery.

Located on a 28-acre site, the new 235,000 SF FedEx Ground facility will feature precast concrete and structural steel construction. With project completion anticipated in late 2027, this large-scale development will add another milestone to our commercial and industrial construction portfolio.

We’re working alongside Ruedebusch Development & Construction, Thielen & Green, and Sandman Structural Engineers to bring this project to life.

With seven FedEx projects behind us, we’re ready to make this eighth collaboration another success. We look forward to bringing this project to life in Wausau!

Two more Chipotle Mexican Grill projects are officially complete, with new locations in Cambridge, MN, and Menomonie, WI 📍

While these two projects are the latest additions, our relationship with Chipotle goes back much further.

In 1999, a member of the Strack team helped build the Chipotle location in St. Cloud, MN, which was just the fifth Chipotle location in the state at the time. Since then, that relationship has continued to grow through countless projects, partnerships, and successful openings.

Today, there are more than 95 Chipotle locations across Minnesota, and the Strack team has been fortunate to play a part in that growth. With more than 23 brand new Chipotle projects completed over the years, plus countless renovations, our experience with the brand has given our team a deep understanding of what it takes to successfully deliver these projects from planning and coordination through construction and closeout.

Long-lasting relationships like this are built on trust, integrity, consistency, and delivering for our partners project after project. We are grateful for the continued trust Chipotle has placed in the Strack team and look forward to continuing the relationship for years to come.

We are also continuing to grow our team. Strack is looking for talented Project Managers and Superintendents who want to be part of a team with a strong track record, deep industry experience, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

We just broke ground on the very first PopUp Bagels location in Minnesota, right in the Historic North Loop! 🥯

This one's special: PopUp Bagels is a brand new concept for the state, known for its fresh-baked bagels sold by the bag and made for sharing. Landing their debut MN location in one of Minneapolis' most iconic neighborhoods is a great fit, and we're grateful to be the team bringing this build-out to life.

We're targeting completion this October, so it won't be long before North Loop mornings come with a lot more bagels.

Thanks to the PopUp Bagels team for the partnership. More updates to come as the build progresses!

Ten Dave's Hot Chicken locations and counting 🐓🔥

Our latest build with MN Chicken officially opened its doors in Eden Prairie last Friday, 8/7, marking another milestone in this growing partnership. Opening day brought the energy this brand is known for, with guests lining up to try Nashville-style hot chicken in a brand-new space built just for them.

From our first build together to this latest opening, MN Chicken's continued trust in our team reflects just how far this partnership and the brand's presence across Minnesota have come.

This project included a full tenant improvement along with a 552 sq. ft. building addition to expand indoor dining for guests. Located at the corner of Highway 5 and Eden Prairie Road, adjacent to Eden Prairie Shopping Center, this new location brings another high-energy dining destination to the community.

Thank you to Dave's Hot Chicken and MN Chicken for your continued partnership. We're proud to be part of this brand's growth across Minnesota and excited for what's next!
