We are currently seeking motivated individuals to fill several positions. Samco Inc is a 65 year old, multi-generational family owned small business. Over the last several years we have been growing our product line, increasing our reach, and expanding our team. 2026 is looking to be a great year with a high workload already on ground and we are looking to expand our team with the following!
Steel and Aluminum fitters/ finish welders. Must be proficient in all aspects of MIG welding, general fab work, fitting and cleaning your own parts. Aluminum welders must be very competent and confident in your own skills, able to work with polished sheet material keeping it clean, covered and properly handled. Ability to operate modern Miller XR aluma feeders w/ push/pull guns. All positions must be able to set your own machine for changes in material, change your own wire and gas bottles. Steel will need to aid in final prep work for paint, both will need to de-bur your own parts, clean edges etc. these positions are more tailored for seasoned experienced person.
Steel welder/parts & fixture assembly. This position requires the ability to read basic prints and drawings. Primary tasks are the assembly and welding of hoist sub frames and components, truck equipment installation parts, light additional work for parts preparation drilling/tapping and installing grease zerks. Fitting hoist installation parts, occasional welding/fitment of hitch plates or other components. Primary welding 3/16 up to 3/4" material. The ability to multi task or jump into other projects when help is needed.
One candidate for a mixed position. This if for someone with basic skills in automotive type wiring and electrical, to assist with or fully complete the installation of chassis and upfit lighting and electrical components. Will include the wiring of body lighting, building wiring harnesses, electrical components for tarp system installs, drilling and installing ground locations, keeping all chassis and upfit wiring protected and neatly tied. General light wrench turning, preparation and installation of tarp systems, cutting tarp parts via a band saw. Other duties may include packing outgoing freight, unloading shipments, stocking and inventory of parts. Must be able to handle basic hand and power tools, properly use heat shrink equipment, forklift operation a plus.
All positions require the ability to operate hand and power tools, read a tape measure accurately, keep work areas clean, and be conscientious working in and around customer vehicles. Safety is our highest priority!
