I came across this article about a study done related to good bosses/managers. The ones who are able to motivate their employees. This particular article addresses motivating the employees. I found a second article as well that digs into the top ten characteristics of the bosses no one want so work for or with. Because I've worked for people at both ends of the spectrum, I'll post that article as well. Both have some study data to back them up.

I apologize to any one offended by the language in this article, however, I found this article back as I have been going through some things.
