The East Side is rocking its own vibe on the St. Paul Art Crawl this weekend. Fire in the Bluff will be making wood fired pizzas at the Flat Earth Brewery from 11 to whenever on Saturday, accompanying 12 awesome artists! Come on by!

On Saturday August 20th, Fire on the Bluff will be making pizzas using ingredients grown right here on the East Side of St. Paul. Urban Oasis and the East Side Freedom Library will be hosting a walking tour highlighting immigrant history and food culture on the East Side of St. Paul. LolaRosa and Fire on the Bluff will be making East Side food history themselves serving up local ingredients after the tour at Flat Earth Brewing. Portions of our proceeds will go directly to Urban Oasis. So, walk up then drink and eat up for a cause!

Tomorrow, Saturday June 4th, is the date for Art in the Hollow, an art and music festival in St. Paul's best park -- Swede Hollow Park -- from 10AM-5PM. Fire on the Bluff is a last-minute addition to the fest so we'll be there making our rustic, gourmet, wood-fire pizzas all day! Come for the art, stay for the pizza!

It's a new season. We're getting ready and filling up a schedule of pizza events. Look for posting soon. In the meantime, it's time to shake off cobwebs and preheat the oven. So, in honor of the many Feb and March birthdays in our circle of friends and family (including both mine and Kirstin's) we're gonna fire up the oven and cook pizzas tomorrow from 4:30 (ish) until, well, the pizzas are gone (like 25 or so).
