AET is headed to Kansas City for the Fall 2026 National Concrete Consortium (NC²) meeting!
NC² brings state DOTs and industry together to talk through the most pressing issues in concrete pavement. It is also where members pinpoint research needs, shape pooled fund projects, and share new technology.
On Tuesday, September 29, Gerard Moulzolf will present "A Petrographer's Perspective on Curing Concrete." His talk is part of the afternoon session on placing, finishing, and curing concrete. Curing has a big effect on how long concrete lasts, and Gerard will share what petrographic examination shows about curing in the field.
Gerard and Jussara Tanesi will both be at the meeting. If you are attending, come say hello. They would love to talk about concrete durability, petrography, and the challenges your agency is working on.
