Designed and built for long-term performance, this facility features a premium standing-seam roof with R-30 long-tab banded insulation, plus durable PBR wall panels with R-19 insulation, maximizing energy efficiency and structural integrity.

MBS is proud to partner with PJ Callaghan Construction on a 72,600 sq ft roof retrofit at DRS Technologies Largo Facility. Originally built in the late '70s and early '80s, the existing metal roof systems are being upgraded with a Double Lok® standing seam retrofit—installed without removing the current roof, allowing operations to continue uninterrupted and preserving existing insulation.

This floating system, supported by clip attachments over the original panels, enhances performance and energy efficiency with an added thermal air gap. We're also eliminating long-time trouble spots by installing a NuRoof framing system to remove problematic valley gutters on the Hi Bay sidewalls—reducing future maintenance needs and improving drainage.
