Take yourself back to the 70s with this build. Jeep Cj5, top and doors off, switchin gears with your 3 speed in the floor and the AMC 304 under the hood just begging for another gear 😄

We got this one machined, blueprinted, built, verified, slight color change(customer huge TN Vols fan, and going in the Vols orange CJ5) and then we were part of the break-in on this one.

An International DT466 we did a complete long block overhaul on for a TD12 Dresser. This one put our machine to the limit with 400 lbs of compression per cylinder.

Fresh build on a 5.3 LC9. Polished crankshaft, bored .020, factory 6.0 cam, decked 4k to clean up block, milled heads 4k, Texas Speed full DOD delete and BTR pushrods to get the correct length.

Oiling and compression verified 👍
Heat cycles created by friction 👍

Preparation is key.

From measuring the bearing clearance, piston to wall clearance, deck height, end play, piston protrusion, stem height, spring pressure etc and more -then to the wash. Then clean and wash again, and again, and again. This is a quick step for some people, a spray with brake clean and their done. No, once you think its clean, do it again.

This 6.0 turned out great on the run-in with fantastic base oil pressure and excellent compression on all 8 cylinders. We are able to verify proper oiling and check for any oil leaks. After the initial "run", we install the high pressure oil system components to prime the system with oil before the engine is ever installed.
