We are so sorry to share this news. Greg was not an Emery crew member for a long time, but it felt like he had been here for years. His positive attitude, gracious personality, and love for his family were an example to us all.
“Greg bravely and fiercely fought stage 4 Glioblastoma for the last year and a half. In the early morning hours of March 3, he was finally free of pain and is now at peace. He was surrounded by loved ones, not only in his final hours, but throughout his cancer journey. The family is finding comfort knowing his battle is over.
A huge thank you to everyone that has supported, encouraged and sat and laughed with Greg during his journey. He really kept that sharp witty sense of humor up until the end.
Emery & Sons Construction Group, we can’t thank you enough for all you have done for Greg and his family. He was beyond blessed to have such amazing support from all of you.
Please keep Greg’s kids Cody, Ian, Jacob, Travis, Ravyn and Mason, their spouses and all those precious grand babies in your thoughts!
I also need to say something about my amazing sister Lisa. Lisa has been the most amazing caregiver to my brother. There is a special place in the world for people like her. We can’t thank her enough for how she cared for Greg through it all.
Me, my momma and Lucy are heartbroken with the loss of our Greg. We know he’s been reunited with my dad and I’m sure they’re having a beer wherever they are!
Service information will be shared when we have those details.
Rest peacefully, brother, we’ve got it from here.”
We’ll keep you posted as to his service.
