Dalke Construction Commercial General Contractor Dalke Construction is a fourth generation company. Thomas and his wife Marie, had four children. Harold, Herbert, Irene, and Marvin.

Since 1919, our tradition of excellence and almost 100 years of experience, Dalke Construction has completed in excess of 1,000 construction projects. Thomas Dalke started out as a residential contractor in the Salem/Dallas area in 1919. His son, Herb, joined him in business after serving over seas in World War II. Herb took over in the late 50’s and transitioned to commercial construction in 1958

. Herb and his wife Dorothy, had five children. A daughter, Kathy, and four boys, Ken, Larry, Tom, and Dave. In 1981, Ken, Larry, and Tom became the owners of Dalke Construction. Dave joined the company later as superintendent of the excavation crew. Both Ken and Tom have since retired, but Larry remains owner of Dalke Construction. Larry’s son, Scott, started working for the company at a young age and is currently a project manager. Ken’s daughter, Tracie, is the office manager.
