What a great day co-hosting the Southeast Metro Showcase Tour with as part of the on Tuesday!

It was a day filled with meaningful conversations and a shared excitement for what’s possible with mass timber in residential homes.

The Molalla Mass Timber CLT project gave guests a rare look at a custom single-family home and expansive workshop, paired with stunning mountain views and a behind-the-scenes look at the building process alongside the homeowners themselves.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our Uncle Gary at the age of 88.

He was not only a beloved family member, but the founder of Kaufman Homes and a cornerstone of the business our family continues to carry forward today. Leading alongside his brothers, Dean and Duane, Gary helped build the foundation that we are proud to lead.

Gary was a strong and principled businessman whose leadership, wisdom, and steady presence shaped everything he touched. He had a remarkable ability to combine common sense with sharp insight, and his success was a reflection of both his work ethic and his character.

Beyond business, he was an incredibly generous man who impacted countless lives over his many years. His legacy is one of strength, integrity, and kindness, and it will continue to guide and inspire us.

We are grateful for the lessons he taught, the example he set, and the life he lived so fully. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
