HopFlyt wants to thank Aviation Week for featuring the hybrid-electric Cyclone UAS, and especially highlighting our world class partners helping to power this effort:
UAV Turbines: Miami based UAV Turbines is developing the world’s most advanced turbogenerator-based hybrid electric power systems. The Monarch 5 turbogenerator will serve as the powerplant for the Cyclone UAS, providing critical power to enable long range flight operations.
Aerodine Composites: Indianapolis based Aerodine Composites delivers innovative and high-performance manufacturing solutions to industries ranging from motorsports, to aerospace and defense. Aerodine will leverage their expertise in advanced tooling and composite structures to fabricate the Cyclone's airframe and develop scaling solutions.
Sentinel Robotic Solutions, LLC: Virginia based SRS brings together a team with deep ties in the UAS industry. SRS will contribute expertise in avionics, communications, networked systems, ground control, flight test, and range support in development of the Cyclone UAS.
Four small U.S. companies have joined forces to produce a hybrid-electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing uncrewed cargo aircraft.
