Powered by pedals and good company! 🚲

Last week our team hit the streets of Salt Lake City for a bike crawl, taking in the sights, building connections, and finishing strong with refreshments at a local brewery.

We’re proud to celebrate the Murray Armory Renovation being recognized by Utah Construction & Design Magazine as the 2025 Most Outstanding Public Project Under $10 Million!

Renovating and modernizing an existing facility while preserving its long-term functionality requires thoughtful coordination and creative problem-solving across the entire project team. This recognition reflects the collaboration, technical expertise, and shared commitment that brought the project to life.

Thank you to our clients and partners for the opportunity to contribute to a project that enhances an important community and public service facility. Congratulations to everyone involved in this well-deserved recognition!

This year, our team partnered with MHTN Architects, Inc. and Resolut Group for Canstruction Salt Lake City, celebrating the theme with a design inspired by a Corinthian column — a symbol often seen in civic and government architecture. The layered colors represent our national parks and the land America was built on, honoring the natural beauty that connects us across generations.

Proud to support a great cause through creativity, collaboration, and a lot of cans! You can visit the sculptures, vote for your favorite, and donate food or funds at slco.to/250

Wasatch Fire District Station #51 was named Utah Construction & Design Magazine’s 2025 Most Outstanding Municipal Project!

This project reflects the power of thoughtful design and engineering that supports the people who serve our communities every day. From creating a resilient, high-performing facility to helping bring the district’s vision to life, we’re proud to have partnered on a project that will serve the Heber Valley community for years to come.

Shoutout to Wasatch Fire, ajc architects, Big-D Signature, and the whole project team for making this project possible. We’re honored to see Station #51 recognized among the state’s top projects.

To the graduates turning their tassels, congratulations! 🎓

From late nights in studios and labs to capstones, presentations, and exams, you’ve built the foundation for a meaningful future. As engineers, designers, problem-solvers, and leaders, you’ll help create stronger communities and shape the world around you.

We’re proud to support the campuses and spaces where learning happens, and even more excited to see where the Class of 2026 goes from here!

Happy Earth Day from KPFF! 🌱

Our purpose is to for people, places, and the planet. We’re committed to building a future where the places we design strengthen communities and leave the world better than we found it.

Join us at the 2026 Progressive Design-Build Summit in Sandy, UT on April 14 for a session with Jacob McCann from KPFF's Seattle office on Driving Value with Integrated Design.

Progressive design-build isn’t just a delivery method—it’s a mindset. By aligning owners, designers, and builders from day one, integrated teams can move faster, make smarter decisions, and deliver more value where it matters most.

From accelerating timelines at the UW Hans Rosling Center to maintaining operations at SeaTac during the construction of the International Arrivals Facility, this session explores how collaboration, flexibility, and trust unlock better outcomes.

If you’re looking to get more from your projects, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss!

In the last 15 years, KPFF has designed over 15 million square feet of parking, representing over 50,000 stalls. Our projects include long and short-span, freestanding, and above- and below-grade structures.

From our experience working as a prime consultant, part of a design team, and directly for contractors, owners, and private developers, we have gained key insights into the economics and special design requirements that make parking structures unique.

Our team provided the structural design for the new Salem Fire & EMS Station 151, where mass timber takes center stage. By engineering with wood, we helped create a space that optimizes operational efficiency while providing a warm atmosphere for those who serve our community.

Proud to have partnered with ajc architects and the City of Salem on this standout project.
