One of the best ways to do that is through literature, such as novels, short stories, and especially poetry. Join Barton Poulson, PhD, as he discusses his ongoing "Data Poetics" project on LinkedIn, in which he shares work by prominent poets and explores ways that the perspectives in those poems can inform data work.

Data work is an exercise in simplification and interpretation, which means that there is no such thing as a "perfect" analysis. While it is important to be mindful of the assumptions and requirements of your methods, it's also important to remember that all methods are, to varying degrees, flexible and robust.
