One of our engineers recently visited the site of the new Cyprus Credit Union in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Construction is still in its early stages, and the visit provided an opportunity to check on the progress firsthand. The new Trailhead Student Housing is an exciting addition to the University of Utah campus! This six-story, nearly 350,000-square-foot residence hall adds more than 1,400 beds, along with spaces for students to connect, study, and unwind. From indoor bouldering and gaming areas to dining and shared gathering spaces, Trailhead is helping create a more vibrant campus living experience.

The new building was thoughtfully designed to support that mission, featuring science labs on both levels, a new performance stage, expanded internet capacity, and additional electrical outlets to accommodate evolving technology needs. Architectural highlights include open ceilings, DNA-inspired window designs, and enhanced security features throughout the campus.

This 90,000-square-foot education and training facility marks MTECH’s sixth campus and its first location outside of Utah County. Located next to the new Deer Creek High School, the campus will provide both high school students and adults with access to career and technical education programs closer to home.

BHB Senior Associate Jeff Thomas recently traveled to Anchorage, Alaska, for a site visit at the AC Hotel by Marriott! This five-story, approximately 97,000-square-foot hotel will feature 160 guest rooms.

While in town, Jeff also made time to explore Anchorage, stopping by local favorites like Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria and Westchester Lagoon to take in the beautiful Alaskan scenery!
