From cramped and closed off to open, bright, and made for gathering. ✨

This home started with a small, tight kitchen and an outdated backyard patio that just wasn’t serving the way this family lives. By adding an extension to the back of the home, we were able to expand the kitchen and dining areas and create a space that truly works for everyday life and entertaining.

New French doors now open to the outdoor patio, blending indoor and outdoor living, while floor-to-ceiling windows — including those incredible trapezoids — flood the space with natural light.

Now it’s more than just a kitchen. It’s a place where cooking, connection, and homemaking come together. 🏡✨

Incredible project, the sweetest clients, and a kitchen renovation we’re still swooning over. 🤍

We started by demolishing a closed-off kitchen and relocating the stairway that once sat in the middle of the home. By moving the stairs to the far left—where the old fireplace lived—we were able to completely open the kitchen and living room into one bright, welcoming great room.

From a built-in work-from-home desk and a functional pantry, to brand new cabinetry, flooring, and a custom-fabricated stair railing leading down to the remodeled basement family room—every detail was thoughtfully designed to transform how this home functions for our clients needs.

This one was truly special.

This basement came to us after the original contractor missed the mark on the plans. What was once a dark, awkward, and unusable space is now a bright, functional workout room, completely separated from the workshop and garage.

With fresh walls in Sherwin-Williams Colonial Yellow and Hubbard Squash, ceilings in SW Dumpling, and polished concrete floors featuring a custom metal inlay, this transformation brings both warmth and durability.
