About a century old, and still operates properly if you'd believe that! Sometimes it's true what they say, "they don't build them like they used to! ". Although we'd guess the efficiency of this unit is nowhere near today's standards. We check this unit every fall for the homeowner, and so far every year it works great.

Drained, oiled, belt removed, wrapped tight and canvas tied down over it, etc. Feels like we just started this one up!

Probably 9 out of 10 furnaces that have a green stick on them that I've double-checked have never had the actual adjustment done. Just the sticker stuck to the furnace. This one is unique in that the previous contractor made no effort to even look like he tried to make a gas pressure adjustment for elevation. That's a new low.

Previous HVAC company told home owner the ev***rator coil was so dirty and plugged up that it was causing the breaker to trip. They wanted to charge $2200 to replace the ev***rator coil. I get called for a second opinion. I hear the previous diagnostic and it doesn't add up. Add to that, no reports of the system freezing up from the blocked coil. My price to replace the coil was less than 1/3 of the other price but I suggest that I check it out to see what I find the cause to be. Because it doesn't sound right.

System is actually running spot on, zero issues. Except the loose wire in the breaker panel causing the wire to overheat and overload the breaker. Tightened that down and they're good to go. No expensive repair needed. And looks like I've earned another long term customer.

This is how we winterize single inlet coolers.we wrap the front grill to form a v***r barrier, then tie the canvas cover down over that if supplied or wanted. If the grill is wrapped and taped properly we have found the canvas cover to ba optional on this style cooler. It is a very good design

3.5 ton A/C replacement, condenser and indoor coil today. The customer let me know that I beat his next lowest bid by $1,000 and over 3000 from the bids after that one. Feels good to treat people right more companies should try it!
