Biomerics is pleased to welcome Zarshah Dewan as our new Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Zarshah brings extensive experience driving commercial growth within the interventional medical device industry, with expertise across electrophysiology, cardiovascular, and neurovascular markets. Throughout his career, he has built strong strategic partnerships with leading OEMs and helped advance programs from early-stage development through commercialization.

In this role, Zarshah will lead business development efforts supporting New Product Development initiatives, oversee strategic account management activities with Biomerics' Executive Account Managers (EAMs), and provide oversight for key Marketing & Communications priorities across the organization.

As we continue to scale and support our customers developing life-changing medical technologies, Zarshah’s experience and customer-focused approach will help drive our continued success.

Biomerics is pleased to announce the promotion of Liran Avigad Greiner as President of the International Division in Costa Rica. Liran joins Biomerics Executive Leadership Team and will lead all of Biomerics’ Costa Rica manufacturing operations inclusive of Alajuela, CR; and Cartago, CR. She will oversee the General Managers running those facilities, and their respective site leadership teams.

Liran’s career has spanned several departments within the medtech industry, giving her the commercial acumen, operational understanding, technical depth and cross-functional leadership experience that she brings to this new position. Prior to her recent commercial leadership roles, Liran spent more than a decade leading engineering, NPD/NPI, operations and program management initiatives within the medical device industry. That operational and technical foundation, combined with her customer-centric mindset, gives her a strong understanding of how to align commercial strategy, operational ex*****on and customer success.

As we head into Memorial Day weekend in the United States, all of us at Biomerics would like to pause to reflect on the true meaning of this day: honoring the men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States military.

Memorial Day is not simply a long weekend, nor is it a day for celebrating active service members or thanking veterans. It is a solemn day of remembrance for those who never returned home. Those who made the ultimate sacrifice across generations and throughout our nation’s wars.

This weekend, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember those who have fallen and the loved ones they left behind. If you know someone who has lost a spouse, child, parent, sibling, or friend in military service, from any country served, a simple call, message, or visit can mean more than words can express. We remember their courage, honor their service, and keep their families in our thoughts. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
