Same end goal. Very different starting points.
In new construction, mechanical systems are installed as the building comes together.
In a retrofit, those same systems must be integrated into an existing building, around occupied spaces, existing infrastructure, and ongoing operations.
That's why Archer's retrofit work starts long before installation. We scan existing conditions to resolve conflicts in the model instead of in the field. That coordination feeds our fabrication shop, so assemblies arrive ready to set, with less cutting, less staging, and less time in occupied space.
The result is a smaller footprint on the building and its people, and far less disruption to operations while work is underway.
