bioAffinity Technologies Addressing the need for noninvasive diagnosis of early-stage cancer and targeted cancer treatment. www.cypathlung.com

Our flagship product, CyPath® Lung, is a noninvasive early lung cancer diagnostic.

Imaging can identify pulmonary nodules, but clinicians often need more to go on to determine the the appropriate next steps.

The CyPath® Lung test gives you more than imaging to go on. With results indicating “likely” or “unlikely” malignancy, CyPath® Lung provides actionable, noninvasive diagnostic insight to support clinicians as they evaluate indeterminate pulmonary nodules and guide next-step decisions.

This added clarity can help guide discussions about surveillance or intervention while supporting patient confidence.

Thanks to for its recent blog post on the common myths about lung cancer. See the blog at https://lnkd.in/gBzFxZKD.

As we work to dispel myths about lung cancer, we must also continue expanding access to tools that support earlier detection and more informed clinical decisions.

CyPath® Lung is a noninvasive test designed to help physicians assess the risk of lung cancer in high-risk patients with indeterminate pulmonary nodules. By analyzing sputum samples with advanced flow cytometry and AI, CyPath® Lung provides valuable information to complement imaging and help guide patient management. Basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma are among the most common cancers diagnosed in the United States, with an estimated 5.4 million cases identified each year.

Today at the 2026 RNA Therapeutics Symposium, bioAffinity Technologies presented positive preclinical findings for a siRNA-based therapy targeting these common skin cancers.

The newly released findings represent an encouraging step toward developing less-invasive treatments, highlighting in vitro research evaluating targeting specific cell surface receptors. In the study, squamous and basal skin cancer cell proliferation was significantly impaired, while non-cancerous skin cells were unaffected.

A new modeling study found that screening eligibility based on years smoked may perform as well as current pack-year criteria while potentially reducing disparities and simplifying implementation.

As more high-risk individuals are identified through screening programs, tools like CyPath® Lung (www.cypathlung.com) can help physicians assess lung cancer risk in patients with indeterminate pulmonary nodules using a simple, noninvasive sputum sample.

Attending the 2026 RNA Therapeutics (RNATx) Symposium, June 24-26 in Worcester, MA?

bioAffinity Technologies reports positive preclinical findings showing its proprietary gene-silencing technology kills squamous skin cancer cells while leaving healthy cells unharmed. The research supports the company's R&D on potential topical therapeutic approaches for squamous cell and basal cell carcinoma.

The findings will be presented at the symposium by David J. Elzi, PhD, bioAffinity Technologies’ Vice President of Product Development.

We look forward to joining researchers, biotech/pharma, clinicians and industry focused on RNA therapeutics, oligonucleotides, mRNA, siRNA, gene editing and translational medicine.

"Navigating Lower Cancer-Risk Nodules in High-Risk Patients With Noninvasive CyPath® Lung Testing"

This expert-led discussion explores how innovative, noninvasive tools are reshaping the lung nodule care continuum.

Moderator Dr. Robert Sussman, Pulmonologist, Summit, NJ, leads a multidisciplinary panel featuring:
Dr. Vijay K. Gunuganti – Medical Oncology & Hematology, Texas Oncology
Dr. Reginald Carl Baptiste – Thoracic Surgeon, Christus Health
Dr. Sai Karan Vamsi Guda – Interventional Pulmonologist, Texas Pulmonary & Critical Care Consultants, PA

Together, they unpack how CyPath® Lung — a noninvasive test utilizing flow cytometry and AI with at-home sample collection — is being integrated into clinical practice to risk-stratify patients, reduce anxiety, and support more informed surgical and treatment decisions.
🎯 Key takeaways from the recording:
✔️ How at-home, noninvasive sample collection supports risk stratification for indeterminate pulmonary nodules
✔️ How flow cytometry and AI detect measurable changes in the lung microenvironment associated with malignancy
✔️ How CyPath® Lung equips pulmonologists, oncologists, and surgeons with additional clinical insight to support earlier diagnosis and improved patient outcomes
