Hey there 👋In this video we’re breaking out a damaged section of concrete next to the house. Over time slabs can shift from soil movement, water erosion, poor compaction, or just age. When that happens the concrete starts cracking, separating from the structure, or creating trip hazards.
Before pouring new concrete, the most important step is fixing what caused the problem in the first place — checking the soil, drainage, and any plumbing or foundation issues nearby.
Once everything underneath is corrected, we can rebuild it the right way so it lasts for years.
If you’re noticing cracks, sinking concrete, or gaps around your home, don’t ignore it. Small problems can turn into bigger repairs later.
Just sharing some of the work we do every day. If anyone has questions about concrete, foundations, decks, fences, or home repairs, feel free to reach out. Happy to help 👍 – F&M Contracting
