Yesterday we had the privilege of celebrating one of our own. 💙

Congratulations to our Chief People and Culture Officer, Janet Dusek, who was recognized as a 2026 San Antonio Business Journal C-Suite Awards honoree!

Janet has been part of Joeris for 24 years, beginning her career as a receptionist and working her way through project operations before joining our executive team in 2024. Along the way, she has earned the trust of those around her and become a trusted mentor to many Joeris team members.

That experience continues to shape the work Janet is doing today. In just two years as our Chief People and Culture Officer, she has helped redefine how we develop our people and recognize their contributions while strengthening the connections that make Joeris, Joeris.

We are incredibly proud of Janet and grateful for the impact she continues to make on our people and our company. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! 👏

Friday Night Lights at Legacy Ranch High School!

Last Friday, our President, Burton Hackney, had the honor of joining Liberty Hill ISD at midfield for the coin toss, celebrating a campus we were proud to help bring to life. Nothing beats seeing a community come together at a place we helped build.

Houston is growing, and we're proud to be building right alongside it. 🚧

The Green at Katy Park and The Shops at La Marque are officially underway, and we're excited to see these projects take shape as our Houston team continues expanding Joeris' footprint across the region.

We're grateful to build alongside two outstanding O/A/C teams, including City of La Marque, Read King Commercial Real Estate, LA Architects, Salas O'Brien, Dally + Associates, Altar Group and many more.

Founders Hall is open and welcoming its first semester of UIW students.

The first phase of renovations added 50 classrooms and new spaces for several student-facing programs, giving the university room to serve its growing student body and continue expanding its campus.
Joeris is proud to have partnered with the University of the Incarnate Word and Lake Flato Architects to transform this longtime San Antonio landmark into a place that will support generations of Cardinals.

The former AT&T headquarters is now an extension of UIW's main campus welcoming students for the first time this fall.

Founders Hall is officially open to students, marking an exciting new chapter for UIW!

We are proud to celebrate our CEO, Gary Joeris, and his continued commitment to the University of the Incarnate Word and San Antonio community.

Named in honor of the University's founders, the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, this transformative building will house the Student Health Center, UIW Police Department, School of Media and Design, and School of Mathematics, Science, and Engineering.
Joeris was honored to serve as the general contractor for this meaningful project alongside Lake Flato Architects.

In recognition of Gary's longstanding leadership, generosity, and dedication to UIW's mission, the ballroom in the Student Engagement Center will be named the Joeris Ballroom.
