Vidan Diagnostics Makes Β-Hydroxybutyrate 21 FS Assay Available On Beckman Coulter DxC 500i Clinical Analyzer

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — August 6, 2026 — Vidan Diagnostics today announced that its reagent application for the β-Hydroxybutyrate 21 FS Assay is now available for the Beckman Coulter DxC 500i Clinical Analyzer. The β-Hydroxybutyrate 21 FS Assay is intended for the quantitative in vitro determination of β-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) in human serum and plasma on photometric systems. BHB is a critical biological marker when used in conjunction with clinical findings and other laboratory tests for the diagnosis and management of ketoacidosis and its primary causative factor, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
