We’ve got a good problem. We ran out of boots.
Every solar project we complete earns a boot on our wall. It’s our way of celebrating the work our team and our customers are doing across Texas.
Most of those boots came from Goodwill San Antonio, one of our solar customers.
If you’ve got an old pair sitting in the closet, bring it by! We’d love to give it a second life representing a project that helps Texans save money and go green.

Meet the Big Sun Interns
(Yes, we have interns. Yes, they’re smarter than us.)
This summer, we’re joined by four students who are terrifyingly competent:
• Ben – Rice University. May or may not have already rewritten part of our process.
• Lilly – Trinity University. Brings more organization than the rest of us combined.
• Aidan – Also Rice. We don’t know how one school gets this many overachievers.
• David – UTSA. Once fixed something none of us knew was broken.
They’re curious, sharp, and somehow still smiling after seeing our file structure. We're lucky to have them on Team Big Sun, even if they're making us question our own college years.

It’s with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to Kush, who’s been such a crucial part of the Big Sun Solar team for so many years. Kush has brought his talent, energy, and passion to everything he’s done, and we are beyond grateful for his contributions.

While we will miss him dearly, we are excited to see him pursue his dream of attending Ferrandi, one of the world’s most prestigious culinary schools in Paris, France! 🍽️
