You know the name. You know the quoting process. Now let’s officially meet one of the faces behind the quoting process.

Today’s is for Ms. Taylor Daniels, Sales!
Many of our customers have become familiar and fond of Ms. Taylor, so here’s a little more about her to help you get to know her even better!

She began her journey at EPI as an Administrative Assistant before transitioning into Sales and Customer Service, where she underwent training for Sales and Engineering to help with product knowledge. Her eagerness to grow, learn, and take on new challenges help shape her career at EPI.

As of today, she has been with us for 3 ½ years, and will be hitting her 4 year work-a-versary in January.

She was inspired to join the electrical industry because of the many opportunities it provides to learn, grow, and solve real-world problems. Over the years, she has gained valuable industry knowledge while building relationships with our partners she works with every day.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs, and traveling. A fun fact about her is that she’s originally from Iowa, but moved to Texas in 2020 (And we’re so glad she did!)

Taylor has recently moved out of the San Antonio area, but we weren't quite ready to say goodbye. So, we made her EPI's first, and currently only, fully remote team member. We just couldn't let her go that easily!

Thank you, Ms. Taylor, for your years of dedication, growth, and contributions to the EPI team. We're proud to have you as one of !

Are you trying to save time and money by field modifying? It could end up costing you more than you think.

When deadlines are tight, field modifications can seem like the best solution. However, they can negatively impact the project with additional costs and time, failed inspections, and reduced product performance and lifespan.

So instead of modifying a product AFTER it arrives, have it built to your exact specifications from the start with the help of our engineering team.

Recently, CED contacted us for a bussed wireway and a custom NEMA 3R Transition for it. The project required a 24" × 24" × 18" enclosure featuring a fl**ge on the side for a wireway connection and an open bottom so it can be padmounted. This customization eliminates the need for field modifications altogether.

Don't settle for a product that almost fits. Contact our engineering team today for your custom solution!

Last week some of our team, Mr. Gabriel Sandoval - Customer Service, Mr. Rudi R. Rodriguez - CEO, and Mr. Vincent Tavera - Director of Marketing and Design, took a trip to Austin for a sales visit to one of our distributor partners, Lonestar Electric Supply.

It was a wonderful morning getting to reconnect with their team members and meet new ones. We had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Luba Beadle - Purchasing Manager, Mr. Cooper McCollum - Quotations Specialist, and Mr. Gary Gant - Quotations Manager.

During our visit, we also recognized Ms. Alexa Adams with our Helicopter Award for leading sales at this branch location. Since Ms. Adams works remotely, we left her award and appreciation gifts with a manager so they can be delivered to her.

Beyond catching up, we had productive conversations about recent and ongoing large projects, lead times, and ways we offer engineering support.

And, of course, an EPI sales visit wouldn’t be complete without a box (or four) of donuts to share.

Thank you Lonestar Electric Supply for your hospitality and continued partnership. We appreciate the opportunity to work together and look forward to our next sales visit!

For any quotes or questions, feel free to reach out to Mr. Gabriel Sandoval - Customer Service at [email protected] or call at (210) 673-3580.

Austin is one of the fastest growing markets in Texas, and EPI is proud to help power its continued growth.

For years, we've partnered with Austin Energy to design and manufacture products that meet their unique standards and specifications. Products such as SDEs (Service Distribution Enclosures), CT Enclosures, and Collection Boxes.

For their SDEs, they require a NEMA 3R Screw Cover Wireway rather than a traditional bussed wireway for multi-tenant applications.

For Austin Energy’s CT Enclosures, our engineering department helped design it and continuously revise the design to meet the utility's evolving needs.

Another product that is unique to the Austin area is the Collection Box. They are used to distribute power through underground utility vault systems serving downtown high-rise hotels and office buildings.

But our collaboration goes beyond manufacturing.

What does that mean for you?

When you choose a manufacturer that has experience meeting utility's specifications, you can reduce design revisions, prevent installation mistakes, and overall streamline your project’s process.

Is your next project in the Austin area? Contact us today to help you navigate Austin Energy's requirements with engineered solutions built for your success.

Last year, through Lonestar Electric Supply, we provided engineering support and a custom wireway solution to Rosendin Electrical Contractors for an ICU Medical project.

Fast forward to this week, and during installation, their team discovered they needed 3 additional rolls of gasket material to keep the project moving.

They contacted us on Monday, July 6th at 4:30PM with their urgent request.

Our team quickly came up with a solution and had 4 more rolls of gasket material couriered to them in Austin, TX, (A fourth gasket for good measure). By Tuesday, July 7th at 12:30PM, the parts were in their hands and installation was back on track.

That’s the EPI difference.

We don’t just provide products and engineering services. We provide real life solutions for your projects. An order isn't finished until the project is.

Need a partner that's there before, during, and after the sale? Contact EPI to see how our engineering team can help support your next project.
